Local Child Advocate Recognized

Peter Bovingdon of Helena, a state contracted representative of abused and neglected children in Lewis and Clark County was recognized in July by the CASA - Advocates for Kids. At a well-attended ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda, Peter received a community service award from CASA-Advocates for Kids in recognition of his hard work defending children in need. This week, Peter was recognized again with a full-page story in the Community section of the Helena Independent Record.

 

CASA of Montana Joins Facebook

As part of an ongoing attempt to reach out to young people, CASA of Montana now has a presence on the social networking site, Facebook®. The CASA page has information on what CASA of Montana is and what our volunteers do. It also contains a brief description of Park-2-Park, along with some photos of the 2007 event and a link to the website. Our brochure is also pictured in detail.
